Broker went off my last two years returns. Waiting to see what the lender says.
Thanks, can you please let me know the outcome.
Will do. We’ve applied with a specialist lender so don’t know if that’ll make a difference. MA doesn’t see why it won’t go through because I’m still earning.

We were declined by Aldermore in March because they said my husbands income didn't reflect the last years sa302. We currently have an application in with bluestone. His business is fully back to normal now so got some good statements..rates are higher- 4.29% but we don't mind for a couple of years so just waiting to find out. There's a few brokers on here who might be able to help if your statements can now evidence a return to pre covid income.  I know of someone who got a Halifax mortgage (we cant cause of adverse unfortunately)

@shaps Did you check back with the broker who (in Feb) asked you to come back after a few months? What are they saying?

We've applied with Kensingon (me bad credit hubbie is self employed sole trader) he took the first three grants, but nothing else since, and they just asked for bank statements for him and SA302s. They also required a full description of what he does, how &  when he has paid. It helps I'm salaried and earning quite good money I think as well, as they've not asked for anything else from him

I contacted them in April and  again in May but was told nothing had changed.

I emailed them again yesterday but have not received an response as of yet, its just that I see house prices rising and my large deposit eroding due to the lack of interest and inflation.

Mate, if it's one of those stack-em-up high MB companies, you should get another MB to look at it. If you are back in business for a couple of months now, you should be able to get a mortgage even if you have taken the grants. You just need a solid experienced MB.

Phoned up a few mortgage brokers and been told that I need to provide atleast the last 3 months of bank statements or last years account.

I am back in track with my selling but have had to spend around 10k on stock which I am in the process of restoring ready to be sold once the market pickups after the summer  .

Phoned natwest and was told that both them and bank of Scotland are not giving out mortgages to anyone who has accepted a seiss grant or have been on furlough.

I have around a 50-60% deposit but was told it doesn't make a difference.
