Hi, I am trying to find people who have had recent experience with Pepper Money Mortgages. We should have heard last week about a DIP but still heard nothing. I don’t know if this is because they are busy at the moment or if this is because it will be bad news!

It is taking them about 8 (working) hours to assess a DIP. If it was submitted before about 3pm on Thursday, you should have had some news by now.
That being said I did a DIP last Friday and they came back to me on Saturday so your broker may have news ready for you on Monday - assuming they are not working today.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. We have waited over a week - I think it’s the affordability stage (the very first stage)
mince this has been completed would they just offer a DIP or should I expect bad news! We’ve been at this for 12 months now (long story) but I have all but given up hope!0 -
Affordability can be checked before applying using the affordability calculator.
It would not get looked at by an underwriter until you come to apply for a full mortgage.
I think you need to speak to your broker as that does not sound right. Pepper are right on the ball at the minute, it is not taking them a week to look at anything.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I have just had a DIP confirmed.
What goes into their determinations of a DIP?0
