I received a letter and a phone call about this comp. The letter was one in the style of the old school chain mail, does anyone remember those?! Asking me to spend £6 on a "guaranteed entry" to win a further £6000 or something 🙄0

Something definitely fishy there. I've won one of these monthly competitions before and everything was as in the OP - text entry and a phone call from an Empire employee when I won.Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none.

Tried to enter 3 times today from Tesco mobile and it said message not delivered. Thought I'd got the number wrong until I read all your comments above. I wonder what's happened, especially as someone has managed to enter this with no problems.1
