I have a 15% deposit and a property available, however although a mortgage was approved in principle, and I regularly take home approx 1800 a month + I have having difficulty obtaining a mortgage offer due to being on a zero hours contract not a care home or nhs setting!. Turned down and not asked to supply pay slips Any helpful advice?

How long have you been doing the role? lenders who do support zero hours generally require 12 months history of income0

@sandij Not all lenders accept zero-hour contracts but there are mainstream lenders that do. As long as you can evidence consistent pay and a track record, you could potentially have options. I would recommend getting in touch with a mortgage broker and avoid doing too many DIPs without knowing exactly how the lender treats zero-hours income.
