Almost 78,000 motorists may be able to reclaim cash from payment accounts for the Dartford Crossing which have been automatically closed because they've not been used for 15 months, MoneySavingExpert.com can reveal.

Many thanks for highlighting this. I did receive an email about Dart Charge deactivating my account way back in Nov. but due to illness never got round to doing anything about it. One quick phone call to Dart Charge this morning and a cheque for £11.94 is winging it's way to me. Once travel is possible for me I can open a new account. Thanks, guys.I'll catch up tomorrow!2

Phoned Darytcharge tel number, very friendly, told me what my balance was. Card I paid with was no longer valid so cheque via post was the only option which i received in a matter of days. Thank you for highlighting this1
