Parallel Parking Ltd PCN's

Hi, I wonder if someone could help me.
My mum has received 4 parking charge notice's, she has a valid ticket for all occasions. However she's not been able to speak to anyone from Parallel parking Ltd on the phone or email them directly. I followed the appeals process on their website on her behalf as she's no good with technology but they have rejected the appeal saying that even though my mum had purchased a ticket for the said time she had entered the last 3 letters of registration that she should have entered in the full registration and so the fine stands! Now think that can't be right, my mum has never had a fine in her life and duly paid for the parking but mistakenly only entered the last 3 letters of her registration instead of the whole thing. They are threatening court action, has this happened to anybody else? And can they do this?

It looks like you have missed the sticky thread for NEWBIES that asks everyone to read it first. All your questions will be answered there.

Was the driver's identity revealed, or were the appeals made in the keeper's name?

What happened when complaints were made to the landowner? If the same mistake was made several times, it implies that the keypad was faulty.

An IAS appeal is not normally advised, but due to staff shortages it might now be worth having a go.

Thank goodness she didn't speak to them - that's a mad thing to do.  WHY would anyone try to phone a poxy PPC?

Sounds like Mum needs to read the NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST thread and not just post a thread that sounds like no other threads have been read yet.  The forum is a book of information, right here already.

Yes it's happened to other people ,Deven if it's not the same parking company

Yes they can issue a court claim pack within 6 years , tens of thousands of Court claims are issued annually

It's an unregulated cowboy industry , anything goes !!!

Never phone a scammer , everything must be traceable.  Have you complained to her MP?  Please read the newbies.

The OP hasn't been on here since February and never updated this thread you are unlikely to get any reply on here, you should start by reading the newbies thread where all will be explained.
