Has Covid 19 been a wake-up call?

Yep. Right behind you in the low 30s. I get so tired of hearing the arguments of how we should invest instead of paying down the mortgage. Why people seem to think we can only do one or the other instead of both at the same time is beyond me. But perfect example when the markets crashed and the unemployment hit the roof as COVID locked everything down, okay Mr or Mrs smartypants, should I have withdrawn my money at a loss then to pay off my house? In a moment where there are no jobs, no prospects, etc? I can weather the ups and downs of the market even better if my house is paid off since no matter what is happening, the house is mine. Can't wait for that day. So glad you're seeing the light at the end of your journey too. So close!Mortgage start date Dec 2015 - $64,655.00
Mortgage end date Dec 2045 - NOT!!!!
Mortgage balance - $4600.00
Business Savings $43,310/100k
Hope to be mortgage-free by end of 20231
