Halifax Valuations

Hi,
I wanted to know if Halifax are doing desktop as well as physical valuations these days? My application went through last week and still no date for a valuation.
Any recent experiences?

@khanji17 Yes, they are doing both. Not all properties/applications will qualify for a desktop or AVM valuation.

We have just remortgaged with the Halifax and they did a physical valuation on our now two year old "new build"
To be fair they were super quick and the valuation survey was booked in for the day after we submitted our application. From application to full offer was three days.1 -
I got my valuation bumped up to a homebuyers survey. The valuation was instructed the day after my application but they were a bit slow at getting it booked in. Halifax gave me the surveying company's number, I gave it to my seller's EA and that sped it up. Survey & valuation was done on a Friday morning and the offer issued the same day. Took over a week to arrive by post though.1
