Transfer of Prudential annuity pension to Rothesay

My father has been drawing his prudential  annuity pension for 14 years. Now prudential is in the process of transferring its annuity pensions to rothesay. Can my father withdraw his full pension if he opposes the transfer to rothesay?.

There is no full pension, he bought an annuity with the money from it.
This has been in front of two courts - the first stopped it then the appeal overrode the initial decision

There is no pension.  He sold the pension to buy a lifetime annuity.     It doesn't matter that he opposes it.

No - but why is he worried? His annuity is exactly as it was before and will continue to be paid as before.
