Hi
Hope this is in the right place? I wrote to Capital one asking them to refund PPI, they wrote back saying it wasnt mis-sold and sent me a copy of the paper work i signed.
I had ticked the box for PPI ! but it also shows clearly the box was ticked for self-employed!
They are refusing to refund? Should i now give up or should i carry on, as it looks i made a mistake by ticking the PPI box
Any comments on this would be very helpful
Thanks Anita

Hi, i`m currently trying to claim PPI from Capital One (credit card)too.
I had ticked the yes box on the application form as i thought you had to if you were working, and the `NO` box was for unemployed etc.
I would send the second template letter telling them that their reply has not offered a stisfactory justification. That`s what i did and received another letter from them with pretty much the same rubbish in, but they say that it is their final response which then gives you the go ahead to contact the FOS.
I`m going to contact the FOS and think you should too after you`ve received their second reply, Capital One get right up my nose!!!!!!
Go for it, you have nothing to lose, and they do reply pretty quickly (that`s the only thing they have going for them!)
Good Luck, let us know how you get on...........0 -
