I haven't seen IslandMaid posting on the "what are you making for dinner" thread in ages, and I miss being able to pinch her culinary ideas. I hope all is well with her and her IOW family.

Who else is conspicuous by their absence?

I miss Jackie O too.  Her posts were always really helpful and up beat too.  I don't  use the forums as much since transfer to the new forum as I find it less easy to navigate - BUT it's  still a fantastic help and so much appreciated.  Would  be lost without all the helpful posters who so generously give their time and expertise  so freely - thank you all.

From reading today I have put Soda Crystals on my shopping list.

I’m glad to know JackieO is doing okay. When you spend such a long time reading regular posts from people on a messageboard you get to know their lives a little, and I can’t help but wonder how they are when they stop showing up!
