The Student's 'live for free' challenge

Should just add that another large expense came with choosing to buy some society clothing. While of course this is not needed it shows you are at least involved with something instead of just working.
On Friday night also went to a very interesting talk by Andrew Oswald about the economics of happiness. The good news for those of us committed to the earning cause is that money does indeed buy you happiness. So once we have all cleared our debts the only way is up.
On the other hand however after you get married things only go downhill. i am going to have a bit of fun with this as I have a relative who is getting married in a fortnight, on Valentines day no less, so in my card I will include the graph showing how happiness declines after marriage. The effect is also seen immediately with it declining each year after marriage.0 -
gooood morning everyone!
As you can see from my signature the challenge is going pretty damn well and it seems pretty likely I will be abe to pull this off. Even without the large payment from the Jury it looks like it would have been doable so to all you aspiring students, and petrified parents, it IS possible to live within your means while studying. I certainly don't feel as if I have depreived myself of anything, but then I don't drink and rather feel thats where an awful lot of the typical student budget goes.
As for income itself have won about £15 on the bingo thing. Who would have thought making money would be so damn boring! 1TG 1TG GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!!. This has nicely supplemented the £2-3 a day from slicingthepie and searching the web
Am of course doing plenty of work and am looking forward to a nice weekend with a trip into town tomorrow as there is fruit (mmmmm) to be bought!
Have a good day everyone0
