Got my end of August payment showing yesterday, so they are starting to get a bit quicker.0

Then your employer is also on the ball (currently). As the amount deducted has to be paid across manually from party to party. In order to be allocated.MX5huggy said:

For information. If you apply to increase your payments then you have to start the process by going through the 'I want to increase my pension route' - putting in your employer etc which eventually leads you to the login page and you can complete the form after login.
If you try and login then increase your payments then it takes you to a Personal Pension Form of some 16 pages with Direct Debit instructions to be completed.
I despair about the whole organisation.0 -

My wife and I have LGPS AVCs with SL and we make contribution changes via requests to local LGPS Admin team who notify Payroll.
SL just get what is paid across to them by the employer each month and have no involvement in internal payroll/admin.
Surprised Pru want the the additional grief TBH.0 -
Looks like the Pru are up to their old tricks again this month. 14th October and no sign of my AVC payment deducted from my pay on 26th September.0

Depends on the employer choosing to use SS.daveyjp said:

My September payment finally showed in my account late last night. Took over 3 weeks, so actually slowing down again compared to the previous couple of months. Still no reply to message I sent 6 days ago.1

Its both. The employer has to offer it, but the pension company also have to be set up to accept AVC contributions through SS as there are additional regulatory and reporting requirements.MX5huggy said:

Pru are set up, Scottish Widows aren't.
I don't know if SL are set up for SS AVCs hence the question as with the Pru changes to contributions aren't done through the employer.0 -
Since the whole Pru debacle started I have been monitoring contribution deposits, primarily because I periodically transfer out in to my SIPP (I am not LGPS), and I'm pretty certain it takes 6 weeks for the deduction to be credited (usually on or around the 20th of the month; early this month, but annoyingly they always backdate it to the 12th of the month). So, this months contribution is from the August payroll deduction. Again, I am not in the LGPS so it may be different.bioboybill said:My September payment finally showed in my account late last night.
