Aviva pension to new platform help please

Hope somebody can help point me in the right direction and to what I should be wary of.
An IFA managed my pension(170k) on the Aviva platform but due to ill health we have parted and I will diy, I have s&s isa's so not complete newbie and also have just been made redundant and have decided to retire (am 67yrs old) and have a very modest company pension.
The Aviva funds in my pension are mostly Avivas own which have typically lower charges of approx 0.11% and are not available on other platforms as I understand they are exclusive to the advisor site.I want to transfer to either ii or vanguard as I will be drawing down soon , I also have a small pot with Scottish Widows I would want to consolidate.
Should I sell these Aviva funds and replace with retail equivalents before I transfer or would it make little difference if I just went straight ahead and transfered the pension to ii platform?
There is the offer of 6 months free of charges that runs to end of month to consider. I realise if I went with vanguard the funds would have to be sold.
Is there anything else I should be wary or should be considering?,  any thoughts  or suggestions greatly received.

Normally insured pensions funds with the likes of Aviva are not available in other pensions. It makes no difference if they are on the Advisor or retail part of Aviva.  So a transfer in cash will be necessary.
So open up you new pension/SIPP and request a transfer, You do not normally have to inform the scheme you are transferring from. They will cash in the investments for you and transfer them to your new pension.. Aviva have a reputation for being  quick at transfers
