What happened to the NHS and malingerers thread?

Not necessarily.  I started a thread three weeks ago on one of the Covid boards about the wearing of masks in supermarkets and it was deleted within a few hours because it was considered to be a "discussion" thread.  Not sure what the problem was as the thread here about Milennials being unhappy at work is nothing but 100+ replies of discussion with no specific question and is still going strong after several weeks!

Really annoyed if I missed a good NHS thread.

TBH, it was a lot of wind and pi$$ from an office worker about personalities and politics. She sounded hard work.

Bearing in mind this is about a deleted thread, can I also warn other posters against "masked swearing" which might include using the characters "$$" in a word.  I did that last month and got a yellow card.    The next day my mask-wearing post was removed.        And two days later I inadvertantly broke another rule and was banned for two weeks!

Perhaps it's time to find another corner of the net to hang out.

This place has become a poor shadow of itself. Many high quality posters with substantial knowledge have either disappeared elseplaces or post very infrequently.

Oh, I had a post removed a couple of days ago for suggesting an individual may have been a Snowflake. Perhaps the snowflakes are in charge.

Yeah. 

I notice that another poster - whom I thought generally made sensible posts - was banned at the same time I was, and I remember that they'd contributed to the same  thread that I'd been banned for posting in.  But they're still banned after four weeks whereas I was kicked out for just two weeks. 

I think - I'm not sure - I was banned for making a not particularly funny joke about the colour of someone's hair, which I thought was a bit draconian as the whole point of the thread was the OP wanting the same joke on their car numberplate.

What with the disappearance of the Discussion Board last year, I was in two minds whether it was worth coming back at all.
