Hi, My dad died at the age of 55, he worked all his life, mum retired around 2002. Sadly she died in 2018. Having read about underpayments on widows pension I am trying to find out if mum was underpaid. We never claimed anything and dont really know how it all works. She had a private pension on his death. Do you think its worth me ringing DWP and asking if she was underpaid. Thanks in advance.
