Tesco Little Helps Day Competition on Smooth, February 2021
RULES
1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.smoothradio.com/terms-conditions/ (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Tesco Little Helps Day’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 10th February 2021 to Wednesday 17th February 2021 on Smooth (the “Radio Station”).
2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  

Details of the Competition:
3.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to the Competition entry page at https://www.smoothradio.com and register their details.  Online entry will open at 00.01am on Wednesday 10th February and close at 23.59pm on Wednesday 17th February 2021.
4.    Entrants will be required to nominate an individual (the “Nominee”) who has helped their community. The Nominee cannot be a child or anyone under the age of 18, the Entrant themselves or a whole business but can be a family member, partner, friend, work colleague or neighbour. The Entrant must provide their own name, their email address, their phone number, the name of the person they are nominating and up to 300 characters on why they are nominating that person. 
5.    By entering, the Entrant acknowledges that their entry may be read out on air and have the permission of the Nominee for their first name and reason why they were nominated to be read out live on air on the 17th February.
6.    Entries that do not meet the eligibility requirements below will be removed from the Competition and another winner will be randomly selected.
7.    The winning entries will be randomly selected at two points during the time period that the Competition is live. Seven winners will be drawn at 12pm on Monday the 15th February 2021 from all eligible entries received before that point. One further winner will be drawn at random after the Competition has closed on Wednesday the 17th February at 23.59pm, from all eligible entries received throughout the duration of the Competition. 
8.    Entrants who enter before 12pm on the 15th February will have two chances of being randomly selected to win, whereas entries received after this time but before the end of the Competition will have one chance of being randomly selected to win.
9.    The first seven winning Entrants randomly selected on the 15th February will be contacted on the 15th and 16th February and informed that their nomination will be read out live on air on the 17th February. 
10.    The final winning Entrant randomly selected after the Competition has ended will be contacted on the 18th February 2021. Their nomination will not be read out live on air.

Eligibility:
11.    Entrants and their Nominees must be 18 years old or over.
12.    Entrants and their Nominees must be UK residents. 
13.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition. 
14.    The Nominee cannot be a child or anyone under the age of 18, the Entrant themselves or a whole business but can be a family member, partner, friend, work colleague or neighbour.
15.    By entering the Competition, you confirm that your entry form and any accompanying materials and submissions:
15.1.    do not contain any material which is defamatory of any person or which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
15.2.    do not promote sexually explicit material, violence or any illegal activity;
15.3.    do not promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
15.4.    do not infringe any rights of any other person;
15.5.    are not likely to deceive any person;
15.6.    are not made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
15.7.    are not threatening, abusive or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;
15.8.    are not likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
15.9.    are not used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;
15.10.    do not give the impression that they emanate Smooth Radio if this is not the case; or do not advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright or trademark infringement or computer misuse.

Ownership:
16.    All Competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to Smooth Radio will become the property of the relevant above radio stations on receipt.
17.    You agree that Smooth Radio may use your entry and accompanying materials on-air and on and any other platforms associated with the relevant radio station in connection with any publicity of the Competition.
18.    You agree to grant Smooth Radio a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights, in the Competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.

Prize:
19.    Each winning Nominee will be awarded a £500 Tesco Voucher. NDL, who are Global’s prize provider partner, will be responsible for delivering the prize. 
20.    There is no prize for the Entrant, only the Nominee. 
21.    Once the winning Entrant has been contacted, Global will provide contact information for the Entrant to pass onto said Nominee to contact Global and provide the required details to claim their prize. 
22.    Winning Nominees must then get in touch with Global using the email address provided by the winner who nominated them, giving their personal details to receive the prize. 
23.    Winning Nominees will have 28 days from being notified of their win, in which to claim the prize. If they fail to respond within this time period they will forfeit their prize and a new Entrant will be selected using the same process.

Additional Prize Terms & Conditions:
24.    Once the winning Nominee has returned the contact form to Global, their contact details will then be passed on to NDL. NDL will then contact the winning Nominee and will inform them about the prize and how they will receive this.
25.    The £500 Tesco Voucher will be sent in the form of an e-code. The Tesco e-code can be used at UK Tesco stores only. E-codes expire 5 years after the last transaction made. 
26.    All prizes will be delivered within 28 working days from the date that NDL (Global’s prize provider partner) receives confirmation of the delivery address from the Nominee. 
27.    The prize must be accepted as offered and no alternatives including cash will be offered. The prize is non-transferrable. 
28.    Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at its absolute discretion.
Data Protection:
29.    Your personal data, and the personal data of any Nominee that you or they provide to us, will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited and Quidem Limited) as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.
30.    We may hold your personal data for a period of 2 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations. 
31.    You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us or our Promotional Partners when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotional Partners (as applicable) will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy for more details). You can opt out at any time. 
32.    We, the Promotion Partners and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
33.    By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion.
34.    You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
35.    If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s)  have given you consent to provide us with their personal data.
