SIPP Providers

Is there any website out there that lists all UK SIPP Providers, with all their fees listed, from transferring in to drawing down?
Or should I just stop being so lazy, and work my way through them all?

If you google on 'SIPP comparison sites' you'll get various helpful links such as https://goodmoneyguide.com/best-sipp-providers/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4-mLio3f7gIVh6ztCh29qwNIEAAYAiAAEgKeS_D_BwE and https://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/education/2020/11/27/sipps-the-best-low-cost-platforms/

Should be easier than working through each provider individually, although you'll probably need to look at several sites.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

You don't want all providers.  You only want providers that cater to the DIY market.   No point including intermediary providers unless you are using an intermediary.

The former only has 5 providers and two of them are not SIPPs.  They are using referral links which probably means they are getting paid to refer to those providers.   Would snowman's spreadsheet be a good option for DIY providers?  It doesn't include all charges but includes the key ones.

  • Firstly, thank you for all the replies already as they were very helpful.
Can I ask a further question, if anyone has had to make a complaint to Fidelity before?
After I went through your replies, I decided I wanted to open a SIPP with Fidelity which I would then be transferring in two Pensions with a total of over £100k.
I am already an Investor in Fidelity, and have had an ISA account with them since 1990 (might have been PEP's back then).
So, opening a SIPP is going to be easy? ... wrong.
To do it online, I need a mobile telephone number, which I do not have, and have no need of.
To do it over the telephone, I don't need a mobile telephone number, but I do need a minimum of £1000.
I have been unemployed since the coronavirus arrived, and considering my age, its looking like I may never work again, so that option is also out.
For the last two weeks I have contacted Fidelity constantly and can not get any further than their Customer Services Department, and constantly making complaints does not seem to make any difference.
Anyone know how to reach past Customer Services?
I just find it baffling that in this climate, a company would turn down an investment of a 6 figure sum, to someone who has been an investor with them since 1990??
Thanks for listening, and any advice is greatly appreciated.

I wonder if there is some mix up here as the £1000 only applies to a minimum single premium on opening.   It does not apply when there is a transfer in.

You want to transfer a pension.

Whether you already have a Fidelity SIPP or not, you can download the relevant form below.

It seems from above that it can be done by post?

But ... seemingly ... to do a transfer, that would require a mobile telephone number.

This was touched upon last week, with one of their customer service people, that I could do it by post.
But then she was not sure if not having a mobile number would once again be a problem.
So, I was loathed to go to the trouble of printing, filling in and posting, to be told again that it was a no.
I asked if I could email or upload it instead of posting and was told that was not possible, which again just baffled me.
