I anticipate that going forward the one free entry restriction will apply to other Planet Radio competitions too - next Cash Register will probably be affected, but they can't change those terms mid competition.

It does unfortunately seem that only 1 free entry will now be the norm - if you try entering again, it comes up with this message -

• From 1st June 2021, free entries to this competition are limited to 1 entry per person per Entry Period.

I have just entered and it gave me FOUR entries. Might be worth trying again if you only got one entry earlier

eventually they will be banned from doing this.  It's gambling if they make the free entry option incomparable with the paid option.

That's interesting. Is it worth reporting it to a regulatory authority do you think? I have the time to send an email!
Just had a quick Google at the Gambling commission here:

While it seems clear they need to provide a free form of entry it's unclear whether the number of entries is an issue.

Have a vague memory of the recent Omaze draws being pulled up for not making the free routes clearer but think they still only allowed 1 free entry once they addressed the complaint...

Some expert comper here probably knows more than I do!

Not sure that's correct - the ITV ones are all paid or postal now, no free online entry at all any more (years ago there used to be up to 32 free online entries per comp as well as paid and postal).
I'm guessing that's the way these radio comps will go too.

Day 1, 5 rings no pick up, somebody missed out on winning £10,000.00p.  I thought I would listen to Kiss Radio instead of Magic Radio but they did not say what tomorrow’s amount is

I might be wrong but I think because most of the time these radio comps are drawn daily they can’t offer postal route because the entrants won’t get a chance to be entered into the draw if they were to send their entry via postal route. If the only free entry method is postal then there needs to be at least 3 working days from the start date of the competition.
