I am wondering whether or not the DWP could require the MOD to supply the information direct to them?

Governement departments talking to each other? It'll never catch on  :)

More seriously it is worthwhile asking DWP , maybe in a formal written way, whether they can obtain the information direct from MOD if given relevant service number etc. Various public sector organisations and departments share information to try and identify claimant cheats / tax avoidance etc. so there are mechanisms in existence.

Not that I have seen, it would be nice if they did - The Government Gateway where you can request the class 3 credits requests you supply the dates (DD/MM/YYYY)  but doesn't give you any avenue to say you don't have them. I am reluctant to put information is not as accurate as it could be into a government portal hoping they will verify it, especially where tax/pensions are involved.
Anyone have an idea where I could clarify if the DWP would verify? looking on .gov (under class 3 they don't mention anything)
Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...

Are there any support groups for military wives (especially divorced ones) who might have any helpful info?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
