Metrobank - credit card debt

Hi... looking for some advice.
We have a mortgage broker that is looking into our mortgage for us. We are looking to borrow 247500 over 25 years, at 90% LTV.
We have a good joint income of approximately 84k a year.
We do however have a considerable amount of debt - which I know isn’t great. Built up through wedding plans and home improvements. Combined total of around 44k and a loan with around 20k outstanding.
We plan on paying off the loan and 14k of credit card debt from the equity within our house from the sale.
Our mortgage advisor has advised that Metrobank have given an update that it is positive they would look at this and that we stand a good chance of getting approved but that it’s likely they’ll want 3 months of credit card statements? Is this a thing?
Little bit worried as whilst we haven’t used them excessively, there was a few purchases over Christmas time.
