    There are no savings rules for new style JSA, it isn’t means tested. Entitlement depends on your NI record. You could potentially have reclaimed JSA in 2020 after 12 weeks from the end of your previous claim and had another 6 months of it. Unfortunately if you claim now they will be looking at NI record for 2018-19 and 2019-20 and you may not meet the conditions. May be worth a try though.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

    i just wanted to take this opportunity to thankyou for reading my posts on this thread and responding with your comments and suggestion that I might be able to apply for “New Style JSA” Really appreciated. i have been looking into this and if i have undewrstood the legislation around claiming JSA i think you are both right. Fingers crossed :+1:
