IPA finish confirmation

Hi all. I was given an IPA for the tax year to account for the council tax. I have one payment left on it due 1st March. I will then pay the council tax bill again for 2021/22
My question is will I receive confirmation it is paid up and will I be ok just to cancel the DD after the last payment is made

An IPA lasts for 3 years I believe.. (I'm nearly a year in) I don't think you can only get a 1 year IPA.. Can anybody clarify this?

Might be worth contacting whoever you make the payments to rather than cancel the DD just to check..

An income based  IPA lasts 3 years but a council tax IPA is just the tax year until April...ie the tax year you declare BR 
Hope that makes sense

Yes it’s definitely just until March. It was set at £30 for 10 months and that’s what was on the agreement.

Just cancel the Direct Debit when the agreement ends
