Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with claims for solar panels? My parents and their neighbours have issues with pigeons nesting under the eaves as a result of the panels being fitted. The company have offered to install something to prevent them getting it, but at a charge of several hundred pounds. Has anyone had similar issues and managed to get the charge overturned?

That's a common problem . The birds create a mess and make quite a noise. I know of several people who have had the panels fitted and not long afterwards have had to pay someone to fit what looks like a thick mesh all around the edges. Possibly you may be able to find someone who will do it more cheaply.
