Rate Dropped After Agreeing to Product Switch

Evening all,

Just a quick one - I agreed to Product Switch with Natwest back in December with my current deal ending in March.

I have since noticed that the rate for the same product has dropped slightly.

Is it too late to achieve this reduced rate with them given I have signed the paperwork or would they allow the change?

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks.

you can ask the lender if they would be willing to use the new rate, but you may be asked to do a new application as it is a new product and expect there to be a delay and therefore paying at higher rate until you get a new deal locked in

  • Thanks - I got in touch with my broker this morning who has confirmed he'll be able to get the rate reduced down accordingly  :)
