Platform mortgage porting/additional borrowing

We started the application process with platform in September to borrow more money for a house extension. We are still waiting on an offer or any further news. Does anyone know where they are working at date wise with applications? Last week they said end of November, our application was received and paid 8th December according to them.

Assume that was a new application rather than an existing customer? New customers seem to be flying through for some reason

I cant be much help im afraid as we are at the start of the process. Having just sent our application off last week. But I would be interested in your time scales. How long till the valuation etc?
