The 100 Greatest Albums of All Time have now been revealed on The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio.

The idea for The 100 Collection was this:

Dave Berry's record collection got out of hand and was in serious need of a clear out.

The challenge: He was only allowed to keep 100...so what should he choose? And all good challenges have rules right? We didn't allow the same artist more than once in any particular category but they can appear more than once across categories. Which means we've only allowed ONE Oasis album in the 90s, or ONE Beatles album in the 60s...

For The 100 Collection countdown we called on Absolute Radio listeners to have their say and we also got a helping hand from Wickes and Banquet Records.

After five weeks of counting down the 100 Collection in 10 different categories - The 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, Classic Rock, Movie Soundtracks, The Best Difficult Second Album and The Best of the Best Of albums - the full results are now in.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Absolute Radio – 100 Collection – Wickes Prize Give-away” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

 

 

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs	Online Competition:   Online at absoluteradio.co.uk or planetradio.co.uk/absoluteradio    Entries via online or social methods are free of charge
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	The prize winner for the online competition will be selected from those persons who successfully go online and provide correct answer to all five online questions and is available to announce the answers in a pre-recorded segment that will go out during the Dave Berry Breakfast show on 12/02/2021.   The prize winner will be chosen by electronic random draw on 11/02/2021 at 09:00 and called to organise a call with the Dave Berry Breakfast show production team. If the winner does not answer after 3 attempts or rejects the recording the segment with the Dave Berry Breakfast show another entrant will be selected as the winner.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   Online entry will be open from 05/02/2021 at 17:00 (Start Date) until 11/02/2021 at 09:00 (End Date).   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.   Winner Announcement The name and the hometown of the winner will be announced during the Absolute Breakfast show between 6am- 10pm on 12/02/2021
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Both the Nominator and the Nominee must be 18 years or over on the date of entry Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. • Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

Googled the Stone Roses question which gave me the same answer as you.  However, wouldn't let me enter until I changed it to 1990
