Hi all
I went bancrropt nearly 2 months ago but I never had a phone interview with the OR, just some email communications, was told they didn't need to further interview me. However, few days ago I received an email from IPA team who needed to speak to me for 5-10 minutes and an appointmet was sett for next Thursday morning. I have no leftovers from my wage, so unless they try to squaze my expenditure, it won't be any. He said that even if I have already spoken to the OR, they still need to go through my income and expenditure as this is a seperate matter.
Is this normal, to have an interview with them 2 months after BR approved?
Also, tax code has changed to NIL and I have put aside the council tax payment, since this will be claimed by the OR. Could this be the reason.
Just a bit nervous, that's all.
Thank You

They could be speaking to you to arrange payment to them of your tax which hopefully you are keeping separate.
More knowledgeable people will be along shortly0 -
The threshold for an IPA is if you have £20 or more disposable income.

It’ll not be an interview as such, you won’t be asked about your debts or how you became insolvent. They’re highly likely only calling you now as they’ve just been told by HMRC that the nil tax code change has been put into effect - it takes a couple of months.

Thanks guys for your replays. I had the interview and it went far better than expected. The lady from OR's office was lovely and she just wanted to go throw my income and expenditure to confirm everything was correct, she had no issues with what I had put in there, she even said I can keep the amount from the NT on my wage since it is too late on the year and not worth setting up a plan. And because I had no more than £20 leftover a month, she confirmed there would not be an IPA, but I must make them aware of any changes (working hours, pay etc) until I am released from the BR. I was so pleasantly surprised.3
