Hello,
Security Clearance (SC) level. What does it include? The inforntaion I have read it only says spent and unspent convictions.
During the check will it also show up arrests but not chraged which happened 21 years ago?
Thanks

  • The SC form asks about convictions, spent and unspent, probation, police cautions and fixed penalty notices.
The vetting people will look for a criminal record. Just be honest when completing the form.

I have looked at SC form.   Its a tick box for spent and unspent, probation, police cautions and fixed penalty notices.  None that fits just an arrrest and not charged.

No (and being arrested doesn't mean you have committed an offence).
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

If you were arrested and not charged then you weren't convicted. Assuming you have no other convictions then you can tick the 'no' box for that question.

They do their own checks. May as well be completely honest now because they will find out sooner or later. It's always the ones that question that would fail them...
