Final Salary Pension transfer success

Options
I would just like to inform anyone who is thinking of transferring  there final salary pension to a SIPP it can be done. I have just transferred my pension with very little problems. It took about 3  months to complete with no fees. I would advise anyone considering this please take advice first as it's not suitable for all. The advice i got was not to transfer but i decided to ignore the advice and press ahead.

No fees? Are you sure? I have never heard of that. Especially with the ban on contingent charging.

Was it under the £30,000 limit and so advice was not needed?

I guess it depends on how you measure 'success'...
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

A J Bell wont accept it without the advice disclaimer being signed by an adviser.

Is that true or did you mean with no fuss?
