I would just like to inform anyone who is thinking of transferring there final salary pension to a SIPP it can be done. I have just transferred my pension with very little problems. It took about 3 months to complete with no fees. I would advise anyone considering this please take advice first as it's not suitable for all. The advice i got was not to transfer but i decided to ignore the advice and press ahead.

No fees? Are you sure? I have never heard of that. Especially with the ban on contingent charging.
Was it under the £30,000 limit and so advice was not needed?I am an Independent Financial Adviser. Any comments I make here are intended for information / discussion only. I guess it depends on how you measure 'success'...Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!2

Is that true or did you mean with no fuss?
