...if it ever happens. Meanwhile try https://www.gov.uk/find-pension-contact-details (don't be lured onto any sites where you have to pay).elouise01582 said:It is already in process - It is called the Pension Dashboards project.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
You can kind of already trace them via your NI number by getting a state pension forecast - seeing if you have a contracted out pension equivalent (COPE) figure showing and then contacting the NICO to ask them which pension provider they have recorded as providing that COPE - simples (not) - we need those dashboards.0

Only if contracting out was via an occupational (company) pension scheme. If it was a personal pension, as many people have found to their cost, it is only recorded as that: i.e. there is no name for the particular provider. Just look at the number of people who come on to this board hoping to get some help in tracking down the rebate-only personal pension they started in the late 1980s/1990s and now can't remember who the pension provider was.elouise01582 said:You can kind of already trace them via your NI number by getting a state pension forecast - seeing if you have a contracted out pension equivalent (COPE) figure showing and then contacting the NICO to ask them which pension provider they have recorded as providing that COPE - simples (not) - we need those dashboards.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
