Can I get a mortgage offer based on a New Job Employment Contract?

Hi All,
I shall be relocating for a new Job and I am looking to purchase a property to live in rather than rent.
Is it possible to get a mortgage offer based on an employment contract and no payslips yet as my start date is towards the end of the month?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Yes, it is indeed possible and not an unusual occurrence.

Great, would I be offered a worse rate compared to advertised deals as I would be seen as a higher risk?

No, they will either do it at normal rates or not at all. Not every lender allows it btw, either research criteria of lenders or get a broker who will probably know which lenders do it and which dont.
You will be on the high street though, its not a specialist thing1
