Green Homes Grant - Solar Thermal - Maximum Voucher Value?

Options
For homes with an existing airing cupboard and hot water cylinder, the typical cost for solar therma,l seems to be about £6 000, for 2m squared collector and 200 litre, twin coil cylinder.  It seems that many of the the installers, don't want to do systems which currently have a combi-boiler, this is partly due to technical complexity, but also because the additional pipe work and labour increases the cost to around £8 500.  I understand from one installer, the grant scheme are rejecting quotations of £8 500, because they deem them to be too expensive.  I'd be interested to hear if anyone has any idea, what is the actual maximum they will pay for solar thermal, as this information is not published.  I am in the fortunate position of being eligible for the 100%, £10k grant, due to my disability.  Thanks in advance for any replies.
