Typing from home

Am 64, fed up with being made upset in job by boss, so want to work from home as copy/audio typist - my key skillset for yonks. If it works I can continue past state pension, deferring it and most importantly BE HAPPY. 😊 I keep seeing something of interest only to find they want money upfront - so thats a no go obviously. But how can i tell good, honest ones who have the contacts, you get the work and paid for it. Also what do i have to do to work from home legally re tax, home etc. Any positive advice would be most welcome. Many thanks

Have a look at peopleperhour.com, not least to give you an idea of the sort of rates other people are (trying) to charge.
Info on working from home, registering as self employed etc: https://www.gov.uk/browse/business/setting-upGoogling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
Are you on LinkedIn? If so post on there, join similar groups and see what is being posted. Create a website, look online as though you were the client and seee what you find - can see you a gap.
Think about how you can show you will comply with gdpr and data compliance and incorporate this.
Get the word out.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0
