Gross Salary

I make substantial additional voluntary pension contributions through salary sacrifice. My payslip shows my 'Total Gross Pay' as the amount after the salary sacrifice payments are deducted (before tax and national insurance are taken off). If I'm asked for my Gross Salary is this lower figure the salary I should quote? My P60 also shows my pay for the year as the total after salary sacrifice payments.

@pamac It depends on the specific lender. Generally speaking, if the payslip shows the full salary and salary sacrifice then they can consider the full amount - income plus pension payment. It can sometimes be queried if the payslip components aren't clear or the take home pay is severely reduced due to large salary sacrifice contributions. I hope that makes sense.
