Helping parent get property

I just got divorced. My mother is buying a house worth 700k. But she's only got 600k from the sale of her old house. I'm going to live with her also. Will she be able to get a mortgage for the additional 100k required? I'm assuming not as she's 65, is there a way I can help out by being a guarantor on the mortgage, I'm going to help pay some of the household bills while living with her. But I don't want my name on the deeds of the house.
Any advice on how to structure this...

Being 65 doesn't prevent her getting a mortgage, but her income and its level into retirement is important to determine if she can get £100k and over what period...

Would I be able to pay the mortgage for her even if I'm not on the deeds?

Without being too blunt if she's only got £600k then much as she wants to she isn't buying a £700k house

What income does she have to justify a £100k mortgage herself (or notwithstanding the issue of whether you want your name on the deeds what income do you have to generate a mortgage ?)

You can take a joint mortgage with only her being on the deeds.   Called Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor mortgages.  Payment might be high as her age wouldnt support a 25 year mortgage anymore. Some lenders have no upper age limits on mortgages

Otherwise there is Retirement Interest Only (mortgage until death effectively) and Equity Release which can be used for purchase.

So a few options are available.

Mother works full time and she gets a pension income from late husband. She gets about £1700 a month as income. But she stop working soon and in addition will get state pension. I look Into the joint mortgage thanks
