Mandatory portion of swiss pension

Hi, wondering if anyone can help. I had a brief stint of working and living in Switzerland a few years ago. When I left and came back to the uk I withdrew all of my non mandatory portion of my pension but as the UK was in the EU I had to leave the mandatory portion to withdraw at pension able age. Now because of Bexit am I able to withdraw this portion as we are no longer in the EU?

I am hoping to buy a house and this could help us dramatically with the deposit if we can take it

Frankly, the best people to ask would be your pension company in Switzerland who got a much better understanding of the Swiss agreements, laws and the Brexit implications. Rather than a brunch of strangers on the UK pension forum.   :)

I have of course already sent a message to the company in question but whilst i was waiting wondered if anyone else had any background in this type of thing in the meantime. Also may be other people in a similar situation that may not have realised this could be a possibility. But thanks anyway

In response if anyone is in a similar situation i CAN now withdraw the non mandatory portion. I have to obviously provide some certain identification and marital status documents but the money can be released. For some i anticipate this could be quite a considerable amount of money. Hope it helps someone else. Fingers crossed im on the way to getting on the property ladder.
