    When you're in persistent debt it's the credit card company that has to do everything to help to sort it, not the other way round. Demand to have interest stopped as that's exactly the reason you're struggling to pay it off in the first place! They have to provide options to help you pay off the debt in a reasonable time and that will never happen in this situation. If they refuse to freeze interest, make a complaint and take it to the financial ombudsman service if you have to.

    The regulations by the FCA are very clear that the companies have to be fair and reasonable. They aren't even trying to help you out of your situation.
