Any body know were you can buy "shampoo" and "filter" for the "flash home car wash system" the product was supposed to be discontinued more than 13 years ago says flash but yet they are still readily available to buy the kit, the problem is the only comes with sample shampoo and a reduced filter , 2 or 3 washes later its of no use without more shampoo and a new filter. carnt find the shampoo any where , amazon do sell the filters but 600% price increase to what they used to be sold (was £1.49 now £13.99 rip off !!) many thanks for any help any body can offer bob.

There are some for sale on ebay under the Flash banner or (appears to be identical) Mr Clean. Sadly no obvious 'bargains' - it looks cheaper to buy the whole kit on ebay rather than just a spare filter. Any reason you can't refill the shampoo bottle and use another proprietary brand of car wash in that?Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1

thanks for that sarah19720

Marcon: thanks for your reply, unfortunately the new kits only come with a sample shampoo and a smaller filter infact mine only lasted 2 washes and they were empty. apparently the research i have done only certain shampoos will work as they are too thick and block the unit, the only one i have found is over £10 a bottle. Shouldn't be allowed to be sold if you carnt buy the extras needed for it to work. bob.0

Shouldn't be allowed to be sold if you carnt buy the extras needed for it to work. It's been discontinued for 13 years! Nobody will support a consumer product indefinitely. Normally support would be a maximum of 7 years after it ceased production.
