Have had my tax code come through for new tax year. It is higher than the new standard tax code due to working from home. Do we know yet if we can claim for working from home in New tax year from the start then just change to standard if and when back in office?

I haven't seen anything yet, I suspect it will be closer to the start of the tax year when the government know more about the restrictions that will have to be in place after 5 April.
Do you mean your 2021:22 code still includes the £312 expenses that were meant to be for one year only?0 -

Had the email through this morning, the homeworking expenses allowance isn't on it for 21/22 (for me at least).0

That what I thought would be happening. Then if Covid-19 issues continue and WFH is required a new claim could presumably be made.Bossworld said:Had the email through this morning, the homeworking expenses allowance isn't on it for 21/22 (for me at least).1 -
