Working from home reclaim tax

Hi, I understand you can claim back up to £125 working from expenses due to covid, but what happens if you are under the tax threshold and don’t earn enough to pay tax, therefore tax relief is not applicable?? Seems to be low earners are disadvantaged here, would be interested to hear from people in the same boat as myself

Nothing to do with Covid.  Its been available for years.

    Nothing to apply for then.

You are not disadvantaged as you dont pay tax.

  • The simplest thing is to get your employer to pay you.

They can pay £6/week tax free.  £312/year.
