Mortgage with Late Utility Payments

Hi there,
My partner and I are looking to get a mortgage at some point later this year.
We have a combined wage of just over £60,000.
I have been at my current place of employment for over 8 years and my partner almost 15 years.
We have lived at our current address for over 6 years.
I have approx £2700 on a credit card and just over £1000 on car finance. The latter will be paid off by September and nothing else is being added to the CC.
My partner has a bank loan of around £7,000.
We will have saved approx £45,000 by the time we are looking to buy. We are looking at approx £320k-£350k house value.

Partner’s credit rating is great with no late payments, defaults or CCJ’s.
I have been late on 4 British Gas payments sporadically since 2017. This is my own fault due to an oversight. The oldest payment was 2 months overdue and is from November 2019. I have no late payments since, no defaults, CCJ’s etc.
Do you think this will have a massive impact on our ability to get a mortgage? We will be going to a broker but just wanted some advice.
Thanks.

@jr42 No two cases are the same but I had a client with very similar circumstances this week.
Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get the 2 year mainstream fix that he wanted at 90% LTV because of the late payments impacting the "credit scoring" that the two eligible lenders did. Fortunately he was quite close to 15% so had to up a deposit a bit but got a great rate and the 2 year fix he wanted at 85% LTV.
Those late payments should not stop you from getting a mortgage but if you upped the deposit to 15% your options would open up significantly.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
