DIP Nationwide

I want to borrow more on my current mortgage to pay off my HTB loan. I have really good credit hx, good income etc so (naively) assumed DIP would be accepted. This was declined which I was surprised about. When they looked at it further it said because a financial associate had CCJ or similar. I looked through my credit files and have now requested this financial associate to be removed as we no longer have any association financially. Its been removed from equifax and experian so i'm just waiting on transunion to do it from their end.
I then need to get DIP - will nationwide look upon this as problematic doing 2 applications for DIP within 2-3 weeks?
