Design a Croods 2 inspired treehouse and win it for your local community

In partnership with 'The Croods 2: A New Age’ and Neighbourhood Watch, we want children up to the age of 16 to design their very own Croods 2 inspired treehouse for their local community.

What’s more, the winning entry will be brought to life and built within a nearby Wildlife Trust location to be enjoyed by the public for years to come.

How to enter

  • Design a Croods 2 inspired treehouse for your local community using this template – it can be as wacky as you want, let your imagination run wild!
  • You can draw, paint, use computer software or even cave drawings to create your design, but above all be sure to think about how this could be used by the community and bring a lot of fun
  • Share your design on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #Croods2Treehouse and tag Co-op (@coopukinsurance on Facebook and Twitter) and Neighbourhood Watch Network (Facebook: @ourwatch; Twitter: @N_Watch and Instagram: @neighbourhood.watch.insta) to enter
  • The competition closes on 22 February and the winner will be contacted within 5 days via social media. The treehouse will be built by 26 March, just in time for the film’s release!

Top tips for entering

  • Use the template and all 3 pods as a starting point, think about how you could travel between pods? Maybe a ladder or rope bridge? How would you like to get in and out of the treehouse? You could add a climbing wall, a slide or even a secret entrance way. What inventions or gadgets could you add to make this super fun? How about levers and pulley ropes or even a games room!
  • If it’s hard to draw your idea, why not write a description instead
  • The entry on social media needs to be from an account over the age of 18
  • Make sure when you post your entry on social media that your post is public, otherwise we won’t see it.
  • Don’t forget to add #Croods2Treehouse and tag Co-op Insurance & Neighbourhood Watch
  • The entries will be judged on their uniqueness, practicality, inclusiveness and imagination used for the design, it will not be judged on its likeness to the Croods treehouse, so don’t worry about that!
  • Make sure your entry is drawn on the treehouse template – if you don’t have a printer, email croods2@isg.media and we will send you an activity pack with the treehouse template too.

Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That’s the forum motto. Remember, the prime aim is to help provide info and resources. If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue. A Guardian article once "doffed its cap" to this forum as being the one place where consumers can collect together and fight back. Our job is to help keep it that way.
