Wrist support

I am looking for a reasonably priced wrist support that does not actually cut off the blood supply to the hand/fingers, all the ones that I have tried so far do just that.
Personal experience on your part could save me buying and trying every support on the market looking for one that works.

    Hi duncanthedog

I have a Nike Wrist and Thumb Wrap Bandage. What I like about it is, it's easily adjustable to make it comfortable and supportive. I can fasten the velcro so it's VERY tight and then slack it off a bit until I get the right level of ultra support vs comfort.

Mine is an older version (because I've had mine for years) of the version in the Amazon link below:

I hope you're feeling better soon.

    Regards

    Nile

    Thanks Nile
I have circulation problems in my hands and a tight bandage obviously makes that worse but a loose bandage does not give me the support needed. I am getting to the point where I might need to ask for a plaster cast to give the area a chance to heal but then it gets into the lack of use, muscle wastage problem.

Of course if the stupid dog stopped pulling so hard.....

For tendonitis I had a foam support with Velcro straps and a metal bar to support the wrist.  It was on the NHS but it looked quite like this  https://actesso.co.uk/product/beige-wrist-support-splint
The only thing with neoprene is it started to smell quite quickly; I can't remember if it was washable or not.  I also got through two of them (the neoprene broke down after several months' continuous daytime use) before it healed enough to go down to a tubigrip.

Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.
