Link Financial re-added a defaulted debt to credit report after 6 years?

Hey all
What's the best way to address this?
Link Financial Outsourcing Ltd have re-added an old Barclaycard debt to my credit report and reported to all agencies that it was defaulted in April 2019 when in fact it was defaulted in Jan 2014 and dropped off my report entirely...
I can prove the original default date due to previous Resolver complaints with Barclaycard from 3 years ago with the reference numbers and default dates etc.
Not impressed! My credit report was looking fabulous until this popped up!

Send a written complaint to Link, include your evidence of the original default date, do everything in writing as it gets to the data controller and not some call handler.
Link then have 8 weeks to investigate, and to issue you with a final response.
As always with data complaints, the ICO is the place to escalate too if you remain unhappy.
