I am a student so have no idea how tax works. I have recently signed up to an online survey site and was wondering if I need to pay tax on any money earned from this. It will only be an extremely small amount of money,

If it's your only self employed income and you earn £1,000 or less in the tax year (to 5 April), you can forget about it.1
