Apologies if this is the wrong forum and please feel free to re-direct this to the correct forum.
I bought my grandchild a SEGA Homestar Flux direct from the SegaToys website in Germany. ( £174 ).
It arrived within 5 days  on January 17th...BUT.... it's not a new one. My suspicions arose when the lead was 'tangled' not wrapped and the disk wrappers were both opened. Proof positive came when we found a letter in the bottom of the box from the previous owner ( UK based ) who'd returned it!  I contacted her and she confirmed she sent it back in early November.
I cannot find a number for SegaToys that accepts incoming calls?  and despite my sending an e-mail same day and a follow up a day later. expressing my displeasure - putting it mildly! ... no response from them.
Does anyone know of a contact number or what I can do? Last thing I want to do is give my 10 year old  grand-daughter a used planetarium with no guarantee as there wasn't one in the box.

Thanks in advance

I'd give them a little longer to reply before panicking.  And I wouldn't accuse them of a 'con trick'. Mistakes happen.

Seem to be an official distributor , domains been registered since 2015 which is good .

I've accidentally been given a returned item in Aldi rather than a new one . It happens.

    It's not a con

Google search the company in Germany for a phone number .
Germany is where any consumer rights are .

(expressing my displeasure - putting it mildly! ... no response from them.)
    That never helps .

Thanks. Yes, I perhaps over-reacted, but it's for my grand-daughter and I wanted things to be perfect. I've also changed the header on my post, on reflection a bit strong to say the least!
I know they're legit, which is why I bought from their site. In one sense, I'm 'pleased' that the letter for the lady who'd returned it was in the box. My suspicions were aroused but that at least confirmed them.
I'll take several deep breaths, relax and see what happens over the next few days.
  • I managed to sort an e-mail address for them...... took a few e-mails, but end result was a £40 refund and 2 extra disks of my choice.  Fair enough result, I guess.
