Belgian Pension: trying to get e-ID card to work on the Belgian pension site

                    Good evening.
Can anyone please give me any information on this?
I live in the UK. I am just applying for the Belgian state pension and I think I am eventually going to have to use the mypension.be website.
As I have Belgian citienship through marriage, I acquired the e-ID card. And I have the PUK number and the PIN number.
I thought I had activated the e-ID card when I went to the Belgian Embassy last August to set the PIN up. But there now seems to be a problem.
I am not being granted access to the Pensions website.
I think the problem may be that I possibly do not have the Authorisation Certificate on my card! (When I go into the e-ID card viewer, I believe no certificate is attached for me. See description of this issue on the photo below. I can only see "citizen CA" , but without Authentication. )
My question is, has anyone else had this issue? (You could view your e-ID card, but there is apparently no Authentication Certificate on it.)
What did you do to solve this problem? Can the Belgian Embassy attach it without me going in? (I would not be thrilled to have to go into London during Covid times!)
Many thanks.

            Update on this.
I originally requested the Belgian e-ID card and it was sent back to me along with the PUK code. That was in 2018.
August 2020, I went to the Embassy to get the PIN number and ask for the card to be activated. For some reason that activation has not happened.
I spoke to the Belgian Embassy today and they have very kindly suggested I send the card back to them by Special Delivery. (Together with a return Special Delivery envelope.) They will then try to complete the activation for me.
I think it is a possibility, that I have had this problem because I did not know I had to have Certficates activated. I thought I just needed a PIN number. So I did not specifically ask for anything to be done with respect to Certificates.
(There are supposed to be two certificates on the card's chip in order to use the card on-line: Authentication and Signing.)
They said if it still will not work, they may have to request new PUK and PIN codes for me.
I am very happy indeed that they will try to do this without me having to go down to London. That is wonderful help and service from the Belgian Embassy, in these virus times.

A last update in case others need it in future.
 1. Yes, the problem was that I went to the Belgian Embassy to get the PIN number for the card, but I did not expressly mention the two certificates. (Because I did not know about them.)
For some reason these were not activated at that time, even though I did get the PIN number.
 2. Happily, I have just been able to send the card back to the Embassy and I am very happy to say they have now activated the certificates. So I can now get into my work-career in Belgium etc and update my contact details on the Social Services website and the website that has citizens' registration.
 3. Also just to note. I had to use Chrome as a Browser. Edge did not work at all.
And it took a few minutes after I logged in for the first time for everything to pop up. I received an e-mail saying this and after that e-mail everything started working

Thank you for updating this. It may be a while before the information is useful to someone, but sooner or later, someone will need it. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2 The comments I post are my personal opinion. Hello
I have tried to register with Myfin.be.
Unfortunately I do not hold any of the requirements they suggest so need to do it on paper.
It fills me with great anxiety as I should have received it this month, but still nothing...0

            Hello again
Have you asked them, Mariolanza, if you can submit your own form without waiting for their official copy?
Is there anyway they could send you a blank non-resident form by e-mail?? I would think that as long as you put all your own reference numbers on the top etc, then it should be able to be accepted.
I agree, it is horrible to keep thinking it may have got lost in the post. I recently received an HMRC document which had taken 2 weeks to arrive with the post.
(I used to be able to download blank American tax forms for friends so we could fill them in and send them off.)
