Are your payslips computer generated?  If they are then tax should have been calculated using a taxable pay to date figure of £7262 which would give no tax due on cumulative tax or £70 if if on non-cumulative tax..
But as Dazed_and_COnfused said there appears to be a £2 error here, possibly typo by OP or possibly the payslips are being typed so no telling what was done.
If payslip was computer generated then someone must have entered an over-ride figure for tax but not for taxable pay to date.  No idea why they would do that, perhaps thought tax should have been taken from earlier payments and were correcting that.
Whatever the explanation the only place a definite answer can come from is the employer who should be asked....
My payslip shows taxable pay to date of £7262 and tax code of 1250L which means no tax should have been deducted if on a cumulative tax code and if on non-cumulative then for £1395 gross for this month tax should have been about £70.  Why was my tax £540
